TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
