TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
